For neighbors and small businesses

What I do

Four things, done properly.

Most small businesses don’t need a thirty-page website or a marketing department. They need a clean, fast site that says the right thing to the right people — and a person who keeps it running. That’s the work.

Build

A new website, built from scratch

A bespoke, modern, mobile-first website for your business — designed to load fast, read well, and convert. Typography, color, and structure are chosen with care, not picked from a template.

  • Custom design — no themes, no kits
  • Built on the same modern stack the big companies use
  • Fast on phones, accessible by default
  • Connected to your domain and email
Improve

Make the website you have actually work

A focused audit and rebuild of the parts of your existing site that are quietly losing you customers — slow pages, broken forms, weak copy, mobile bugs, dated design. Keep what works, replace what doesn’t.

  • Speed and Core Web Vitals fix
  • Mobile and accessibility cleanup
  • Better copy, clearer calls to action
  • Refresh that respects your existing brand
Maintain

Keep it running, quietly, every month

A simple monthly retainer that keeps your website healthy, up to date, and on. Updates, security, backups, light edits, and a real person to email when something breaks.

  • Monthly updates and security patches
  • Backups and uptime monitoring
  • Light copy and image edits included
  • A reply within one business day
Be found

Local SEO that actually moves the needle

On-page SEO, local listings, and structured data done properly so your business shows up when neighbors in Gaithersburg, Rockville, Silver Spring, and Bethesda search for what you do.

  • Google Business Profile setup and tuning
  • Local schema (LocalBusiness, Service)
  • Page-level keyword and content review
  • Monthly performance and search reports
How it works

A short, honest process.

No long contracts, no ten-page proposals, no surprise invoices. We talk, agree on scope and price in writing, then I get to work.

  1. 1 · A free 20-minute call

You tell me about your business and what your website needs to do. We meet on Zoom or in person if you’re local.

  2. 2 · A written quote

Within 48 hours you receive a single page: scope, price, timeline. No upsells, no hidden line items.

  3. 3 · The work

I design and build, sharing one preview link as it comes together. You give feedback in plain English; I do the rest.

  4. 4 · Launch and after-care

We launch, point your domain, set up analytics. You have 30 days of free changes — or, if you’d like, switch on the maintenance plan.

Questions, answered

The honest answers.

If yours isn’t here, send a note. I reply within one business day.

Do you only work with Maryland businesses?
I work with small businesses across the United States. I do, however, give priority — and a discount on the first project — to neighbors in Gaithersburg, Rockville, Silver Spring, Bethesda, and the surrounding Montgomery County area. We can meet in person if you would like.
How long does a new website take?
A typical small-business site is launched in three to six weeks, depending on scope and how quickly we can finalize copy and photos. Improvements to an existing site can often ship in one to two weeks.
What does it cost?
A standard small-business website starts around $1,800. Improvements to an existing site start at $600. The maintenance plan starts at $75 per month. Every project is quoted in writing after a free 20-minute call — there are no surprise invoices.
Will I be locked into a platform?
No. You will own your domain, your code, and your content. If you ever decide to move on, the site will move with you.
Do you handle hosting?
Yes. I set up fast, reliable hosting on a modern stack and include it in the maintenance plan, or hand you the keys if you would rather host it yourself.
